The Engage Us. Our Health. Our Rights campaign has been launched by the Vibrant Young Voices Consortium, a partnership between CCABA, PATA and Y+ Global. The campaign aims to promote the benefits of actively involving young people in health-related issues, as it can enhance the quality of healthcare services and policies. Meaningful engagement entails more than just providing young people with a seat at the table; it also involves ensuring that they feel secure, respected, and appreciated. The campaign recognises that young people can play a vital role in achieving Health For All.Open
According to World Heath Organisation (WHO) “self-care is the ability of individuals, families and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and to cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a health worker.” The WHO has developed guidelines for self-care, which aim to promote health and prevent illness through a range of tools and approaches that individuals can control themselves.
