#Uproot Scorecard is a global, youth-led political agenda based on the principles of equity, inclusion and solidarity, aimed at ending AIDS by 2030. It offers a unique window of opportunity to drive the rollout of a new generation of youth-led monitoring processes at the national level. It is a youth-led monitoring tool that is facilitated and implemented by young people for young people in their respective countries. The tool gathers data from young people to measure how well a country is doing in achieving the commitments of adolescent and young people at the country level.
The aim of the campaign is to strengthen the capacities of young people, especially those living with HIV and key populations, at the country level to engage and lead on youth-led community monitoring and advocacy efforts through the implementation of the #Uproot Scorecard 2.0.
The #UPROOT scorecards are intended to provide strategic information and to inform and initiate advocacy interventions at the national level and to hold governments accountable.
The UPROOT scorecard is supported by UNAIDS
