As the world prepares for the next phase of the global AIDS response, it is critical to ensure that young people, especially those from key populations, are not only heard but meaningfully engaged in shaping the strategies and commitments that affect their lives.
Youth-led organizations from around the world have released a unified position statement outlining their priorities for the 2026–2031 Global AIDS Strategy (GAS) and the 2026 High-Level Meetings (HLM) on the AIDS response as well as considerations for the Global Fund Grant Cycle 8 (GC8). This statement, grounded in consultations with over 500 young people, highlights the urgent need for inclusive, youth-centered, and rights-based approaches to end AIDS by 2030.
