Universal Health Coverage High-Level Meeting Statements
Urgent action is needed to make universal health coverage (UHC) a reality for everyone, everywhere, informed by the key principles of equity, inclusivity, and human rights for all. This action agenda from the HIV sector includes action-oriented policy recommendations based on the lessons learned from the HIV response and aligned with the Action Agenda on universal health coverage from the UHC movement.
In the lead-up to the United Nations General Assembly, 2023 High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage, STOPAIDS, Aidsfonds, GNP Plus, Frontline AIDS, and civil society partners developed two critical documents; Feedback on the Zero Draft Political Declaration for Universal Health Coverage and a Civil Society Statement. These documents can be used by national networks, partners, and young advocates for advocacy and to communicate with their governments based on these key recommendations.
