Bester Mulenje is a young woman passionate about SRHR advocacy and young women. Her journey to HIV advocacy begun from treatment Advocacy and literacy campaign after drawing inspiration from losing a close relative. She later volunteered with SAT Africa under Youthhub and many other organisations. She currently works with her organisation called Foundation for Adolescent girls and young women in Zambia and also the HERVOICE FUND ambassador in Zambia: a role that has supported to immensely improve her programmatic skills and is teaching others too. Her impactful work in SRHR has been awarded by both ITPC MERA and SAT Africa.

Ntokozo is an HIV prevention advocate who is passionate about the well-being of women, particularly, Adolescent Girls and Young Women. Her passion for lobbying and advocacy was intensified by her personal experiences, surviving violence, struggling to access SRHR services and other factors that continue to leave young women vulnerable to HIV. She was an AVAC fellow for 2019. She currently serves as a board member as well as a ground champion for the Advocates for Prevention of HIV and AIDS (APHA) and also serves in the provincial youth sector of the South African National AIDS Council.

Tambudzai is a 27 year old SRHR Young Leader who began her advocacy work under the Internship Programme with United Nations Population Fund Zimbabwe with special focus on Adolescent Health and HIV AND AIDS Prevention Programmes. She holds a BSc in Women and Gender Studies. She is a Corresponding Author on the paper title; Sustainable Development Girls Mapping Youth Advocacy and action to achieve SRHR in Africa which featured in the Agenda Feminist Journal 2017. Tambudzai is currently serving as the Global Fund, HER Voice Fund Ambassador for Zimbabwe and also a member of the Country Coordinating Mechanism of the Global Fund in Zimbabwe.

Ndiilokelwa Nthengwe is a fierce feminist, fitness fanatic, avid reader, Vipassana meditator and chess enthusiast that enjoys being ideologically challenged. With a background in Business Innovation and Computer Technology from the AFDA School of Entrepreneurship Cape Town, Ndiilokelwa believes that technology and business enterprises should be used in tandem to rigorously improve the quality of life and education. She is a womens' rights, youth and LGBTQI+ activist at heart, with an affinity for Communications and Advocacy to drive and influence socio-political behaviour. Ndiilokelwa’s vision is to empower minority and previously disadvantaged groups through entrepreneurship, advocacy and technology to engender and realize equal and liberated communities.

Hortencia Nuhu is a young woman pursuing bachelor’s degree in Medicine. An activist who passionately believes in paving way for adolescent girls and young women to prosper. She is the Her Voice Fund Ambassador; a program that is coordinated by Y+ Global. She also works with HER MOVEMENT PROJECT; a platform that provides awareness and capacity building on SRHR and gender based violence. She has attended different workshops and volunteered in different activities that work to uphold good health, education and other social activities that contribute to sustainable development. I believe in positive changes and always ready to put those changes into actions.

Márcia Jeiambe is a sexual and reproductive health and rights social activist for 10 years. She holds a degree in Maths and is a master degree student in Population and Development at the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane. Márcia is keen on fighting for the rights of adolescents and young people, and during her career has already worked as a counselor, trainer, program coordinator, AFRIYAN secretariat member, and, nowadays, she is serving as Global Fund HER Voice Fund Ambassador for Mozambique and working at a youth organization called Associação Coalizão da Juventude Moçambicana, as PITCH and M&E Specialist, and is a part time High school Math’s teacher.

Brenda Bakobye is the new HER Voice fund ambassador for Kenya! She is also the Programme Officer at Y+ Kenya, where she oversees program management and implementation. She is passionate about policy advocacy on SRHR and HIV for adolescents and young people. Through her experience as a young advocate, she has developed skills in capacity building, effective communication, documentation, leadership, research and facilitation.

Sirri Cynthia Wakuna is a young women and girls' rights activist from Cameroon. Her passion is centered around advocating for the Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights of Adolescent girls and young women in decision making spaces. Some of her the activities she has carried out include; Advocacy Campaigns on SRHR for adolescent girls in school, Sensitization campaigns on menstrual hygiene management and donation of sanitarty pads to vulnerable girls living in rural communities, prisons and orphanages and training workshops for adolescent girls and young women on body rights.

Millicent Sethaile is a community developer and youth activist .She currently works as Youth SRHR officer at SRHR Africa Trust and also serves on a number of executive boards both nationally and internationally. She holds a degree in Finance and Accounting. Her passion is to merge the financing and development industries to serve communities by investing in programs that positively impact the lives of people. Her aspirations are to see all AGYW accessing safe and quality health care and keeping girls in schools. Her interest in policy development is rooted from the desire to support community initiatives that need policy enforcement in order to work effectively in communities.

Simphiwe Palesa Manhica is a 25 year old female who loves people. She is a peer educator at Baylor Children's Clinic and also a peer mentor under Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation. She is a member of SNYP an organization that fights for the rights of every young person living with HIV. She is an innovator striving to be a powerful feminist and activist. Simphiwe is empowered and is an expert despite conventional notions of what expertise is. Her aspiration is to see every girl and young woman being able to access quality and safe health care together with building their future.

Martha Clara is a passionate HIV/AIDS & SRHR Activist. She is a member of Uganda Network of Young People Living with HIV/AIDS (UNYPA), has vast experience in humanitarian work, with special interest in addressing HIV/AIDS Human Rights Violations, Gender inequalities, Social-Cultural and legal barriers surrounding Young people’s sexual health. In 2019, she was recognized as one of the Five Global Faces of the Fight that championed the Global Fund’s Sixth Replenishment campaign Step Up The Fight which was the largest ever funding raised for global health in the Fight of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria epidemics. She is a Youth Representative on the Global Fund Country Coordinating Mechanism of Uganda.

Nthabeleng Nts’ekalle is a 25 years old who is passionate about changing people’s lives. She holds a degree in Development Studies and French. She volunteered at the university radio station where she was selected to be the Head of news and mentor other youth. She worked for The Lesotho Network of AIDS Services Organization and the Global Fund HER VOICE AGYW Ambassador for Lesotho. She is currently part of the Office of the First-lady Task committee and also the ATHENA NETWORK’s #whatgirlswant, #whatwomenwant campaign Focal point in Lesotho. Nthabeleng has reviewed several documents on SRHR and HIV and also hosts a radio programme for youths in Lesotho.

Grace is a Global Fund Youth Council member as well as a board member for national association for young people living with HIV and founder of youth health connect360, Grace is also an advocate and youth champion for SRH and HIV, She is the HERVOICE ambassador for Malawi. In 2020, she was the Key young person in the Grant writing process for the global fund for Malawi. The struggle that young people living with HIV go through to access youth friendly services is what motivates Grace to work with young people, empower them and demand better youth-friendly health services.
